My organization method is to put an alarm on my phone to remind me what I have to do that day, it alerts me of the things that I have to accomplish because I am not good and checking a planner. It works well for people who forget what they have to do because most people do forget and with the alarm system it alerts you and it will either vibrate or make a noise.
Procrastination hurt bad because it can affect your grade, and cause a lot of stress in your life. When you procrastinate you have to hurry and try and make it as good as possible in a short amount of time, and when you rush you can make many mistakes that will affect the grade that you will get. The stress starts to set in because you don't have much time left and you begin to worry about getting it finished and if you don't in time you make a bad grade, and a bad grade is no good!
You can fight procrastination by doing your work on time instead of setting it off until the day it is due.
Your organization method is very smart and good for you to do so you can remember and not forget to do what you need to do. Procrastinating is bad I agree and I also agree that just doing your work on time is the best thing you can do to get the best grade and to make sure you don't procrastinate.
ReplyDeleteYou made a good point about how procrastination causes stress. A lot of the stress throughout the school year for me is because of the amount of work and procrastinating on assignments I don't finish in school. But I also use my phone for reminders! It helps a lot.

ReplyDeleteUsing your phone is a good idea, because most people our age always have their phone. So that means you'll take your calender/things-to-do with you everywhere you go.

ReplyDeleteA lot of the stress that I experience during the school year is caused by procrastination, and using reminders on your phone is probably better than using a planner because there is no guarantee that you will look at your planner every afternoon, while there is almost a 100% guarantee that you will look at your phone.
