Compare and Contrast teaching

The style of teaching that Katherine did was more of a thinking outside the box. She believes in letting you understand your own things instead of shoving ideas that you need to know, she doesn't force you to believe what she believes. In the Hard Times teaching was all about shoving knowledge that you must know. There is no other way that people should learn except the way that they want you to, you have no freedom to think and believe in what you want. Everything must be facts and nothing else that way everything you learn is true. Its more of a strict type of teaching instead of loose, like you do not of the freedom to believe in what you want or something like having freedom of speech.

I thought that this movie was a pretty good movie, it showed some of the different views about women and men. It was back then so it talked about how women are only suppose to be in the kitchen and be pretty much just a slave to their husbands. The girls in the movie are all about rushing to get married, but all the guys that they are with don't really end up falling through, like they do but eventually they stop liking them. What I got out of this movie is that you cant really trust people specially if they think they know it all. Just go by what you feel and hope for a good outcome.

I think this movie is about a teacher who is being out smarted by her students, and how after college all of them plan on getting married. She hates that the students are smarter than her in the beginning so she threatens one of them because that girl is a smart mouth. In the end I think that they will all come together and they all  find a guy that they eventually fall in love with and they all get married. I think this movie will be inspiring in the extent of getting along with people that you didn't like in the beginning. Also I believe this movie will have a lot of art in it because that is what she teaches and because of the name of the movie.

Exams

My thoughts on the exams that we have to take in order for us to get into different colleges are stupid. I don't think it is necessary for a test to determine how our future could be and what college we can go to because some people are good in school but not so good at taking a test. To me the SAT was one of the hardest test I have had to take. To prepare yourself for a test like this you will need to have to get different vocabulary words that you wont know and study them because the SAT has a lot of big vocabulary. You will also need to know how to do math, so it would be a good idea to go over about 30 math problems so you can know what to do in different problems. The easiest test that I think we take was the STAAR test, it was pretty much basic knowledge that you needed to know and throughout the school year the teachers are teaching you the right things that you will need to know in order to past the test and be able to graduate high school. Its obviously good to prepare for each test you take, what I do is I find out what will mainly be on there and I will look up YouTube videos on it or ask to get some help from my teachers if I am not sure about certain things that might see on the test.
